Retail Impact Statements (RIS)

Our retail experience is extensive and includes large city centre mixed-use scheme, edge of town centre developments in addition to smaller town centre projects, and change of use applications.

It is a requirement under the Retail Planning Guidelines published by the Department of the Environment, that proposed retail schemes.

Stephen Little & Associates have gained extensive experience in the preparation of Retail Impact Statements (RIS) to accompany planning application for a range of retail developments. 

As part of any RIS we endeavour to undertake both a quantitative and qualitative assessment of the proposed new development, in the interest of preparing a comprehensive evaluation of the potential impact arising from a proposed retail scheme.

We provide our clients with expert advise on current retail planning guidance and policies encompassing all aspects of retail impact, as follows:
