The North Drogheda Environs Masterplan 2006 was adopted by Louth County Council in 2006 to provide a statutory template for the sustainable mixed use development of three neighbourhoods covering 254 hectares of land to the north of Drogheda Borough Council. The overall Masterplan provides for the development of 7,100 homes, three mixed use neighbourhood centres, schools, 48ha of open space including a Linear Park as well a key supporting transport and service infrastructure, at these lands.
In compliance with a key objective of the Masterplan, the North Drogheda Environs Group (NDEG) was established to provide a unified approach in the implementation of the Masterplan’s objectives, particularly in respect of the delivery of infrastructure.
Stephen Little & Associates was engaged in a number of roles as both agents for the NDEG and individual landowners.
Working as part of an expert, multi-disciplinary team, Stephen Little & Associates, represented the interests of the NDEG at various stages of the preparation of the North Drogheda Environs LAP Masterplan. This process included:
