La Vallee
Our Clients received permission for the development of 125 homes and a crèche facility at a site adjoining the Dargle River, Bray, Co. Wicklow. The development provides for apartment units of exceptional quality within a landscaped environment.
Stephen Little & Associates provided planning advice to the applicant and served as the agent throughout planning process.
Particular attention was given to minimising the impact of the development on the River Dargle and its habitat. In addition, regard was had to introducing flood protection measures within the development proposal.
Stephen Little & Associates provided a number of town planning services for this development proposal. This included:
- Site appraisal
- Design team co-ordination
- Project management
- Pre planning meeting with Bray Town Council
- Part V social and affordable housing advice
- Preparation and lodgement of planning application
- Preparation and lodgement of response to 3rd party appeal.
- SLA also acted for the client in respect of the River Dargle Flood Defence Scheme and the associated Compulsory Purchase Order. An oral hearing was held in respect of this project.
Construction is complete on this development and both the crèche and the residential units are occupied.
SLA have also been involved in a scheme which sought for additional office space at the adjoining La Vallee development. The same client retained our services throughout the application process and permission was recently received for this development. Construction is due to commence in the short to medium term.
