We were asked, on behalf of a private client, to seek planning permission for an individual dwelling house, with associated horse breeding facilities including stables, outdoor barns, bridle paths and sand arena.

Stephen Little & Associates provided planning advice to the applicant by way of an initial development appraisal followed on by an application to Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council. 

A specific requirement of this application was the need to demonstrate that the applicants complied with the Council’s rural housing policy.  Stephen Little & Associates provided specific advice to the client on this aspect of the application. 

Stephen Little & Associates provided a number of town planning services for this development proposal. These included:

  • Site appraisal
  • Design team co-ordination
  • Project management
  • Pre-planning discussions with Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council
  • Framing legal opinions
  • Preparation and lodgement of planning application
  • Preparation of submissions to An Bord Pleanála.
