Adamstown Central
Adamstown Central is the Town at the Heart of Adamstown and has been planned around the new railway station and future public transportation interchange on the southern edge of Adamstown. Adamstown Central is being developed by Castlethorn Construction, and a planning application for phase 1 was granted permission in July 2008.
The permitted development is the result of a 4 year design process involving a masterplan for the town centre, together with 7 individual building designs by 6 different architectural practices. Stephen Little & Associates have been involved since the conception of the project in 2004, and have provided planning advice to Castlethorn Constriction and the design team throughout.
Our project involvement included the following elements:
- Planning advice – Stephen Little & Associates were the sole planning consultants in a team of over 25 separate practices.
- Planning application – co-ordination and assimilation of all consultants and their material for the application
- Environmental Impact Statement – preparation, coordination and editing of the EIS
- Retail Impact Statement – Preparation and production of the RIS
